Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: September 22, 2024

We want you to feel good about joining our programs. Because most of our stuff is digital (videos, worksheets, community) or uses reserved time (live calls, private coaching), refunds are very limited. All sales are final except where we say otherwise below.

General Rules (applies to everything)

  • No refunds just because you changed your mind, didn’t like the results, didn’t finish, or didn’t show up.
  • Results depend on your own effort — we can’t promise specific outcomes.
  • If we give a refund, it goes back to how you paid (minus any fees like Thinkific or Stripe).
  • Taxes are not included in listed prices and vary by jurisdiction.

  • We take 10–14 business days to process refunds.
  • If you do a chargeback without talking to us first, we may turn off your access and try to get the money back.
  • Email us at info@michellejlamont.com if you have questions — we answer fast.

Special Deals & Discounts (Black Friday, 50% off, free bonuses, gift spots, flash sales, etc.)

  • These are extra cheap or come with free extras.
  • No refunds at all — final sale.
  • Even if you get a bonus (free class, extra person, etc.), it doesn’t get refunded separately.
  • Once you buy, it’s yours — no money back for any reason unless we say so on that exact sales page.

Digital Courses & Pre-Recorded Products

  • You get videos, worksheets, downloads right away.
  • No refunds once you can see or download anything.
  • Pay in full or monthly: same rule — no refunds after access starts.
  • If something is broken and we can’t fix it in 7 days, email us — we may refund only if it’s our fault.
  • Changed your mind or didn’t finish? No refund.

Live Virtual Classes (short groups, 4–6 weeks, live sessions)

  • We prepare everything for the live group — time is saved just for the people who join.
  • No refunds after the first class starts or materials are shared.
  • If you cancel before it begins, check the sales page — we sometimes allow a partial refund.
  • Missed a class or didn’t attend? No refund — replays are usually available.
  • Pay in full or payment plan: full price is still owed even if you cancel after it starts.

Memberships & Subscriptions (monthly or yearly access to community + live calls)

  • Monthly: No refund for the month you already paid — you keep access until the month ends.
  • Cancel anytime: Click in your Thinkific account — no more charges after this month.
  • Yearly: Ask us for money back on months you didn’t use. We subtract what you had and refund the rest.
  • Didn’t attend calls or use the community? No refund — everything is there waiting for you.
  • Trial (if offered, like 30 days free): Cancel before it ends to avoid charges. No refund for cancelling after the charge is processed.

One-on-One Coaching (private sessions with Michelle – virtual or in-person)

  • Deposits (First payment is considered Deposit) and payments are non-refundable — we save special time just for you.
  • Pay in full or payment plan: full price is owed once we start.
  • Change or cancel a session:
    • More than 14 days before: OK to move it (if Michelle has time) or get credit.
    • 7–14 days before: Small fee ($50–$100) to change — no refund.
    • Less than 7 days or no-show: Session gone — no money back.
  • Full package: No refund for sessions already done. If you stop early, pay any leftover on payment plan.

In-Person Retreats, Workshops & Events

  • Deposits (First payment is considered Deposit) are non-refundable — pays for the place and planning.
  • Full payment due 30–60 days before (check your offer).
  • If you cancel:
    • 60+ days before: 50% refund (minus deposit).
    • 30–59 days before: 25% refund (minus deposit).
    • Less than 30 days: No refund.
  • We may give credit for a future event instead of money.
  • If we cancel (low sign-ups, bad weather, sickness, etc.): full refund or credit to another event — your choice.
  • We’re not responsible for your travel, hotel, or extra costs.

Payment Plans (pay monthly over time – up to 18 months)

  • When you choose monthly payments, you promise to pay the full price.

    Taxes are not included in listed prices and vary by jurisdiction.

  • It’s not “pay only for what you use” — it covers the whole program.
  • If you cancel: payments stop, but you still owe any money left for what we already gave (classes, sessions, materials).
  • We may send you a bill for the rest.
  • Best choice: pay in full if you can — it’s easier and no surprises.

Important Note Some countries have extra rules that give you more rights. This policy doesn’t take those away.
